DOG OF THE YEAR by request we are extending the contest to March 1st, so get your dog's picture to the park and in a canister so we can all vote.  Winner reigns for a year and will get a photo shoot and a lifetime membership in Anthem Pets/Jackass Acres. AGILITY CLASSES BEING OFFERED  We are sending information out by seperate flyer.  Lots of people have asked for a trainer and we found one and bought the professional equipment so sign up as space is limited.

www.Naap.org  this is a group of non-profits in Anthem that we have become a part of which offers all types of services available to those in any kind of need and a central clearing area.  We have helped several families with pet food while they get back on their feet..Our rep. to the group is Holly Bolton.

PARK PATROL NEEDS YOU  Contact Laura when the calendar goes out. Unlike the rumors you don't pick up dog poop.

Valentine at the Park  It was sad to see more people didn't show up for the class and the fun. We do these events for our members.

GREEN TAGS AT JACKASS ACRES  Green tags MUST be on the dogs collar or leash. If you don't see them ask that person to leave; it's the rule and if you can't follow it don't expect to have everyone overlook it. We all work very hard on the park and the least everyone can do is follow that simple rule.  If you need a new tag as they do get eaten at times let us know we will leave one for you.  Simply contact us at  yahoo.com">anthempets@yahoo.com     

Visit the website www.anthempets.com to see all the great cats and dogs available at no COST to you.  We are just looking for a good home.  Lots of dogs and cats dont even get to the site as we do keep a list of wanted dogs and cats, so email if you are looking for a special pet.   Ask around - we have PERFECT pets.

PARK NOTES. Watch your emails as in the next two to three weeks we will be closing the park for different Spring Maintenance such as weed spray, new rock, furniture placement.  The park will be closed for 24 to 48 hours at a time depending on what we are doing, but we will never close on weekends.

ST.PADDY AND PAWS  A St. Patrick's Day Walk in the Anthem park.  Please watch for the flyer and considering volunteering for the event as well.

PET FOOD  We can always use donations and come help us rebag.  It  makes you feel realyl warm and fuzzy to know how much help this program is.  It only takes about 1/2 or less and we always have Starbucks!
