Fine Art Photographer Cheyenne L Rouse announces the opening of Ancient Light Gallery in Old Town Scottsdale. The Gallery is located on Marshall Way in the bustling Scottsdale Arts District.
Rouse will be exhibiting her Fine Art Photographs of the American West, as well as her latest photo series entitled, “Ghosts of the West”, a creative and nostalgic look at the American West and Southwest. Rouse says, “I’d like bring in a few other artists with a regional style like mine; I think jewelry and pottery would be a nice addition to the Gallery”. Cheyenne L Rouse has been a professional photographer since 1989 and has had her photographs published in national and international publications as well as many ad campaigns.

Ancient Light Gallery is holding a Grand Opening Event Thursday December 2nd, 2010 from 6PM – 9PM – this event will coincide with Scottsdale’s Weekly Art Walk. There will be music and Guest Artists in the “Artists Courtyard” in front of the Gallery.
Rouse is also proud to announce the release of her latest book, “Ghosts of the West, A celebration of the American West, the history, the lore, the culture”; the book will be available in early December.

Originally from Miami, Rouse relocated to Scottsdale in June 2010 after living and working in Park City, Utah for 12 years. “I love the desert and am so glad to call Arizona my home, the Southwest is a photographer’s paradise and now I am just a short drive from so many of my favorite photo destinations.”
