Culinary Delights
Passion, principle, and superior product are the elements that drive a new addition to the restaurants up in Anthem. The Copper Pot Café, nestled in a quiet corner of the Anthem Marketplace, is the whisperers' best kept secret. Owner/operator Bill Hancock and Culinary Certified Executive Chef Kelly Green are using the superior food products that are prerequisites to the culinary delights made from scratch on the premises. The Copper Pot's principles are to bring in only the highest grade of products used to prepare each entrée to perfection.

It is without doubt that owner Bill Hancock and Chef Kelly Green are a twosome that have been brought together to razzle and dazzle any palate of doubt. After meeting in Ottawa , Canada , Bill and Kelly continued their education at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in London , England . They continued to keep in contact after graduation. Bill had stumbled upon Anthem while looking to relocate from Lake Tahoe , California to be closer to his family. Chef Kelly Green had spent some time in France at the prestigious Les Chalet de St. Martin and more recently in Breckenridge, Colorado before planting her feet and taking the culinary reins of The Copper Pot.

The Copper Pot Cafe has been open since July and has built up a loyal clientele without any aggressive marketing or advertising. After helping Bill open the Café, Kelly returned to Colorado to tie up loose ends, moving here permanently before the New Year. Now Chef Kelly Green and her staff of Culinary Institute graduates are finely tuning their skills - designing daily specials and menu items that are available for dining in or take out.

Everything is made fresh. Just to name a few, The Copper Pot serves breakfast items such as Egg Wraps, Frittatas, Croissant Sandwiches and French Toast; lunch items include Cobb Sandwich, Cashew Chicken Salad Sandwich, Classic Caesar Salad, and Hot Pastrami Sandwich. Dinner entrees making the "A" list are Rosemary Chicken, Spinach & Italian Sausage Lasagna & Pan Roasted Salmon Filet with Stir Fry Asian Vegetable Rice and Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette.
